Abstract :
In this work, a CPW fed 3D folded slot antenna with a horizontally polarized Omni directional rational pattern at azimuth plane has been analyzed, designed and fabricated. A multi wavelength annular loop slot antenna is wrapped around a cube and excited by a CPW line to achieve an omnidirectional pattern with gain of 0dBi at azimuth plane. The cubic architecture with edge length of 38mm is fully 3D printable and operates at ISM 2.45GHz frequency band for the sake of compatibility with most of wireless sensor network protocols as well as telecommunication facilities. The interior space of cube has been reserved for placement of electronic circuits.
