Abstract :
Mobile handsets have seen major design improvement in recent years, but mitigating the hazardous effects of radiation still remains a challenging issue. In this study, a technique for reducing the Specified Absorption Rate (SAR) for mobile applications has been investigated for a PIFA designed to cover the GSM 850MHz, GSM 900 MHz, DCS 1800 MHz, PCS 1900 MHz, UMTS 2100 MHz, as well as most of the LTE bands.
