  • Abstract
    Proximate antennas such as in a Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) system suffer from poor isolation and low efficiency. In this paper, a simple optimization technique to reduce mutual coupling between two closely coupled antennas is proposed. By introducing a connection line between the two ports, it is shown that the coupling can be substantially reduced. The proposed technique is relatively simple and easy in implementation.
