Abstract :
A broadband annual dielectric loaded cylindrical dielectric resonator Antenna (ADLCDRA) is designed and analyzed in this paper. The proposed antenna has a simple structure of two parts providing the monopole-type radiation pattern. It has a wide impedance bandwidth of 55% covering the frequency range from 0.71 to 1.25GHz and has a low profile of 0.173 λ0 (λ0 is the wavelength of the center frequency).
