Abstract
In this paper, an UWB antenna system is experimentally evaluated. Omnidirectional system faithfulness for recovering a narrow pulse that is transmitted between its terminals (UWB antennas) is measured through an average 93.88% fidelity factor. Omnidirectional radiation is proven through radiation pattern measurement at frequencies 4.5 GHz, 7 GHz, and 8.5 GHz.
