Square loop complementary frequency selective surfaces

Square loop CFSS are constructed by placing a layer of metallic loops on one side of the dielectric and aperture loops on the other side. Two different configurations of square loops CFSS are presented: It is shown that by shifting one layer by half the periodicity the resonant frequency of the pass band is significantly reduced. The effect of changing the dielectric thickness on both structures is also presented.
