Abstract :
There are a growing number of plug-and-play options to enable wireless connectivity, but there is not a simple to use design environment for wireless that can unleash the same creative spirit that fueled the maker movement which brought additive manufacturing to the masses or the wiring/Processing moment that lowered the entry barrier for microcontroller development. Z0lver provides this environment; a “Build” view where you can construct your circuit using tough, drag, and mouse; an “Eval” view which provides a graphical view of your circuits performance in both the frequency and time-domain; and a “Make” view which shows you what your final circuit will look like in stripline or microstrip (these are the two printed circuit topologies most commonly used in RF design). This opensource project provides these features in a cross-platform compatible and mobile-focused environment.
