Abstract :
A dual-band circularly polarized microstrip patch antenna is investigated. To satisfy the RFID application in China (840.5MHz-844.5MHz, 920.5MHz-924.5MHz), a parasitic patch is used to attain dual bands and slots in the ground are used to adjust frequency ratio. The simulation results show that the proposed antenna exhibits two frequency bands for return loss>15dB covering two RFID bands in China with good circularly polarization performance.
