Abstract
A computationally efficient multi-feature image reconstruction algorithm is proposed to process different features appearing in the visibility distribution obtained with a very long baseline interferometry (VLBI) array. The algorithm is flexible to handle massive amount of visibility data, making it suitable for the next-generation telescopes. The visibility data based on the configuration of the Low-Frequency Array (LOFAR) are simulated to reconstruct the M87 image. The proposed algorithm is a few hundred times faster than the conventional algorithms and is more resilient to noise than the latter.
