Abstract :
In this paper, fast design optimization of an ultra-wideband antenna is presented. Our design approach exploits variable-fidelity electromagnetic (EM) simulations and response correction techniques to simultaneously adjust all geometry parameters of the antenna structure at a low computational cost. As a design case, a coplanar waveguide-fed UWB monopole antenna is optimized for 3.1 GHz to 18.5 GHz bandwidth.
