  • Abstract
    The paper presents a Si-based leaky wave V-shaped dielectric antenna. The antenna is fabricated using the dielectric image guide technology platform previously developed by the authors. The antenna offer low-cost compact and high efficiency performance in the W-band using high resistivity Si materials that is compatible with the microfabrication technology. The fabrication process is simple one mask process using deep Si etching technology. The antenna works in the W-band with an achieved gain of 14 dB and 15.32 at 77 GHz and 94 GHz, respectively, with a radiation efficiency of 99.8%.
