Abstract :
This paper presents a balanced reconfigurable origami conical spiral antenna that can axially radiate at two states: (a) circularly polarized (AR<;3 dB) from 1.85 GHz to 2.75 GHz, and (b) linearly polarized at 1.4 GHz and 3.7 GHz. This antenna can be applied to various wireless communications, such as, GPS, radars and satellites. The simulated realized gains of the two states are over 7 dB.
