Abstract :
Aiming at the advantage of cavity backed antenna, a wideband circularly polarized cavity backed slot antenna is presented. The designed antenna consists of a backed cavity, a radiating slot, a substrate, and a inducting slot, each slot has a disturbing branch. The antenna is fed by CPW feed line. The antenna´s impedance bandwidth is 34% (37.8-52.5GHz) and its circular polarization bandwidth is 15% (37.7-43.8GHz). The results indicated that the property of the proposed antenna is valid for Q-band communications.
