Abstract
High permeability magnetic materials are attractive in the realization of small size RF circuits. Low coercivity magnetic materials are attractive as a tunable material due to their low hysteresis and high saturation magnetic moment. This paper employs magnetic nanoparticles to realize tunable antennas using soft magnetic FeCo nanoparticles. The extraction of magnetic permeability is reported by calculating the resonance frequency and scattering parameters of annular ring resonators made out of composite nanoparticles. The best fit method of simulated finite element method and measured S parameters of magnetic resonators are used to find the complex permeability used for the antennas.
