Abstract :
Knowing the variation in array factor pattern performance due to relative element mis-positioning of a distributed linear array, work is performed to utilize a minimum variance adaptive array processing method to minimize the effects of the element mis-positioning. The extent of array factor performance enhancement is demonstrated for a linear distributed array design where the unique input to the enhancement algorithm is only the element position information.
