Abstract :
This paper analyzes the signal properties of the spotlight synthetic aperture radar (SAR) diving with the acceleration. According to the special signal properties of spotlight mode, an approximation of the range equation is made to avoid using the method of series reversion (MSR). Based on the new range equation, a modified omega-K algorithm with the improved two-step approach is proposed. The proposed method is efficient with general configurations. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the improved algorithm.
