  • Abstract
    High frequency interpolation based satellite image resolution enrichment has been proposed in by introducing subband of discrete wavelet transform (DWT) and the captured image. Stationary wavelet transform (SWT) has been carried out to enrich the corners of captured image. The fragmentation of input picture has been done by using DWT to crop sub bands. Interpolation between high frequency subband and captured image has been incorporated. Modification over the high frequency sub bands are achieved by means of SWT. Highly interpolated image and input captured image is then united to offer new enriched image proposing converse DWT also inverse DWT (IDWT). Satellite captured image improvements with solid edge effects are proposed for analysis and evaluations in satellite image processing.
