Abstract :
A simple, efficient and low cost quasi resonant LED driver is proposed. The proposed driver relies on a capacitive safety isolation barrier, which eliminates the need for a bulky isolation transformer. Thus, cost and footprint area can be reduced. The feasibility of the proposed topology is verified by simulation and experimental results.
