Abstract :
This paper presents a model-based predictive control scheme for a dual-output Nine-Switch Inverter (NSI) with output filter. The conventional Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) method for NSI control is very complicated, it requires a multi-loop control scheme and implementation incurs high computational costs. Conversely, the proposed predictive control scheme is simple and controls two the three-phase output voltages by solving a single optimization problem.
