Abstract
Distributed generation (DG) units with a harmonic compensation function have become an attractive topic. Conventional harmonic current suppression is not always effective at improving the overall power quality of power distribution systems. This paper presents a harmonic current suppression method with single-phase DG units in three-phase three-wire systems. The purpose of the proposed method is to suppress harmonic currents in a three-phase grid. To validate the proposed harmonic compensation method, simulation and experimental results are presented.
