Abstract :
This paper studies the modeling, switching strategy and control scheme for NPC three-level (NPC-3L) inverter fed dual-three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drives. Firstly, the dynamic modeling of the system is described and analyzed. Then, the space vector modulation (SVM) strategy is designed for the drive system under double d-q frames. Not only the harmonic performance but also mitigate of voltage deviation in mid-point of DC link are considered during designing the SVM. Then, the corresponding control scheme is proposed for the drive under double d-q frames. Both the simulation and the experiments are given to verify the validity of the proposed switching strategies and control schemes.
