Abstract
In this work the development of a three-phase boost-rectifier is reported, it takes advantage of the output DC bus to fed control circuitry and employs an active diodes scheme to synchronize the supply voltage phase with gate control signals making use of a PWM half-controlled modulation technique. Three-phase boost rectifier is powered by a three-phase electric generator and is used for energy harvesting applications with variable voltage input and variable frequency supply conditions with an experimental efficiency up to 94.6% for a 3.6 V peak per phase.
