Teaching virtualization laboratories in higher education

This paper presents the necessity for studying a virtualization course at Computer Science specialization at undergraduate level, that can on one side offer the students a competitive advantage when they finish their studies, and on the other side be used as the basis of many virtualization related courses (such as cloud computing) at Master studies level. The paper proposes an applicative approach to teaching virtualization technologies in laboratory.
