Abstract :
In this paper, we show our study on a market model of mobile SaaS (Software as a Service) servers in a semi-cooperative environment. We propose a decentralized SaaS (Software as a Service) business model and compare it with a common centralized model in cloud computing. First, we define the problem and derive some necessary conditions for the adoption of decentralized model. Then, using periodic user demand, we simulate and analyze the revenue of decentralized servers assuming servers will maximize their revenue. Five different service selection strategies are simulated and their results are analyzed.
