  • Abstract
    In this paper a detailed investigation has been carried out on the various design aspects of horizontal axis ocean current turbine (HAOCT). Performance characteristics of the turbine have been found through BEM theory and experiment. The investigations provide base line for the design and fabrication of commercial scale ocean current turbine. The analytical and experimental results are found to be in good agreement.
