  • Abstract
    DC systems are a new and emerging technology. DC system benchmark networks are necessary to study transient faults and operation condition changes in these systems (specifically in MVDC systems because they are in a conceptual stage). The paper offers an overview of all DC system architectures and proposes MVDC system benchmark networks based on the knowledge of existing HVDC and LVDC system networks.
