Foreign language training for technical teachers

International cooperation of technical teachers requires the ability to speak a foreign language. To help technical teachers to achieve a high level of communicative competence it is necessary to provide foreign language courses, mainly of English. The paper describes the theoretical approach, the stages of compiling a series of teaching materials “English for academic mobility of students, lecturers and administrators of technical universities” intended for the course. It also shows the components of the series and their structure.
