Abstract
In recent days it is a great challenge to support high-speed packet data services for high quality multimedia applications. One of the key techniques for achieving this high data rate is MIMO-OFDM. In this work QRM-MLD receiver is implemented with ASESS (Adaptive Selection of Surviving Symbol replica candidates) technique which drastically improves the bit error rate (BER) performance of the Multi Carrier (MC) transmissions in a frequency-selective fading channel. To increase the capacity link adaptation is used which chooses the suitable modulation and coding schemes with respect to the current channel conditions. An appropriate code rate is chosen for the given modulation scheme according to the current channel quality. This work is to perform link adaptation on MIMO systems with QRM ML receiver.
