Abstract :
This Paper Presents a Portable vital signs monitoring system using GSM. Design and implementation of vital sign monitoring system to monitor vital sign is based on internet and wireless sensor network. The system consists of three tiers that is Sensing, Communication and presentation. Sensor layer consists of no of the sensor unit suitable for vital signs monitoring. The Communication layer helps to communicate between sensing layer and presentation layer with the help of GSM. Presentation layer consists of a user side Interface. The system monitors vital signs measurements include electrocardiogram, Blood Pressure and Temperature. In addition to the health information about a patient´s history of Patients is always saved in database. The main aim of this paper is measure of vital sign and retrieved information into usable knowledge for classification and prediction of patient condition.
