Abstract :
This paper aims to give a better performance of the cascade control for a multi process station (Level & Flow) by implementing Fuzzy controller instead of the conventional controllers. Comparison of simulation results of, cascade control (primary and secondary controllers) of process with various combination of primary and secondary controllers. Combinations are, primary and secondary both as PI Controllers, primary PID and secondary PI controller, primary PI with secondary fuzzy controller, primary fuzzy controller with secondary PI controller, primary and secondary both as Fuzzy controller. Simulation of all the combination, both (primary & secondary) fuzzy controllers for a cascade Control of process gives a better performance. In this paper cascade (Level & Flow) control of process is taken into consideration. Primary loop is level process and secondary is flow process. The comparative results show the better performance when fuzzy logic controller is used for both primary and secondary control.
