Abstract :
This paper discusses an edge coupled microstrip filter centered at 1 GHz having 200 MHz bandwidth. The dielectric material used for the fabrication of the filter is FR4.It is having dielectric constant εr of 4.4.The CST software is used for simulation of designed microstrip bandpass filter. The insertion loss acquired is above -2dB and return loss acquired is below 15 dB. The results which is received are very useful for the L band.
