Abstract :
This paper presents the design of a 16bit Sigma Delta Digital to Analog converter for audio applications. Sampling rate conversion plays a predominant role in the signal processing and has a strong determination on the overall complexity and cost of efficient digital to analog Sigma Delta converter. In this paper a technique to examine filter architectures that can be effectively applied in the design of interpolator is presented. In addition a cascade multi bit design of sigma delta Modulator digital to analog architecture is also presented. Then a comparison is shown on multi bit single loop and cascade design based upon SNR, NTF and stable amplitude for audio applications.
