Abstract
This paper presents our recently development of a compact nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) system, including radiofrequency (RF) acquisition system and the coil design. For the acquisition system, a time-saving and cost-effective method is introduced for the development. In this system, circuit components are simplified by using the high-performance FPGA. This reduces the complexity and improves the performance. Our design will be presented and demonstrated using a Carr-Purcell-Meiboom-Gill (CPMG) echo train pulse sequence for NMR. It will be compared to traditional acquisition systems in terms of size and signal to noise ratio (SNR).
