Abstract :
This paper proposes a static multi-objective model to the Distribution System Expansion Planning (DSEP) problem which identifies expansion plans that have compromises between their global cost and set up risk. The traditional DSEP problem is modeled as a mixed-integer linear problem, and the deployment risk of the expansion plans based on the damage suffered by the system when contingencies defined by n-1 security criterion occur. To solve the proposed multi-objective model, the second version of the Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm (NSGA-II) is implemented in Python, using an interface with GAMS/CPLEX. Two test-systems have been used to assess the methodology.
