Abstract :
Gunung Pass is a landslide-prone area located in Cameron Highland District of Malaysia. In this paper, land deformation in Gunung Pass is monitored by using Stanford Method for Persistent Scatterer Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (StaMPS) of TerraSAR-X data and theodolite surveying. TerraSAR-X data were used. Time series plot of StaMPS is shown and compared with the theodolite surveying reading on the corresponding dates. The study found a considerably similar trend of both methods.
