  • Abstract
    This paper deals with virtual reference feedback tuning (VRFT) for MIMO plants by one of the prediction based system identification (PBSID) methods. Since VRFT designs a feedback controller that minimizes the difference between the closed-loop system and the reference model, the optimized PBSID method, which minimizes the least squares of the prediction error, can be employed to estimate a full parameterization MIMO controller. Numerical examples illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed MIMO controller design methods.
