Abstract :
The results of R&D work dedicated to the development of high-voltage power supply unit that will provide high-stable operation of sub-THz CW clinotron system have been presented and discussed in this paper. High-voltage power supply provides the output voltage instability of 10−6 in order to achieve the stability of the clinotron operation frequency better than 10-5 that is required for the system application in DNP NMR spectroscopy and etc. For the system output power stabilization it is proposed to use the PID control scheme in the electron gun filament circuit. The PID control is proposed to realize in widely used codes such as NI LabVIEW and the scheme for application of such stabilization using proposed high-voltage power supply unit is discussed in the paper.
