  • Abstract
    It is known that deformation of the flux grown microtwinned crystals zinc sulphide is realized by motion of partial dislocations [1] and therefore it is accompanied by the changes of crystal structure. During the increase of degree of deformation till 18 – 20% in such zinc sulphide crystals is gradually occurred complete detwinning and disappearance of stacking fault [2]. It is reflected in the changes of all structure-sensitive properties including luminescent properties of material. Basic regularities of the process of photoluminescence deformation changes of bivalent manganese impurity centres in zinc sulphide crystals were previously determined [3].
