Abstract :
A new push-pull converter with features of soft switching and anti-shoot-through capability is proposed for aerospace applications. By embedding LLC resonant tank at the secondary side, the zero-voltage switching for MOSFETs and zero-current switching for Diodes can be achieved. Based on the fundamental harmonic approximation analysis, the operation principle of the proposed converter is analyzed, which is similar to the traditional LLC converters. A 500W prototype was built to verify the merits of the proposed converter. Experimental results show that all the power devices can be operated under soft-switching conditions, while achieving high conversion efficiency and high reliability.
