  • Abstract
This paper presents a power control scheme for fixed speed wind turbine using fuzzy logic based LQG controller. In proposed method, Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model and optimal control are used. The goal is to control power using parallel distributed fuzzy LQG control. With the Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy modeling, the non-linear system is approximated by the combination of several linear subsystems in the corresponding fuzzy state space regions. Since the linear subsystems are fuzzily combined, the Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model is a non-linear model which can conserve the non-linear characteristics of the original complex nonlinear system. According to obtained T-S model, a LQG controller is designed for each subsystem. LQG controller is obtained by solving Riccati equation and the method related to LQG.
