Abstract
This paper investigates the problem of two-sided matching (TSM) of interval-valued preference within the framework of Regret theory. Firstly, interval-value preferences given by agents are normalized. Then, an impact of regret (rejoicing) on agents was quantified and calculated using the normalized preference according to regret theory. By combining both the interval-value preference and quantitative value of regret, satisfaction degree matrices of agents are constructed, where a rational and linear optimization model is developed. The matched results can be obtained by solving the model. The latter is demonstrated using numerical example.
