Abstract :
Dissimilarity computed from frequency information obtained by applying three-dimensional Fourier transformation to a plasma video has been proposed. This paper defines the evaluation criteria for plasma videos in order to confirm which features the dissimilarity reflects on. To this end, a subjective experiment is conducted. From the experimental result, it becomes clear the dissimilarity reflects on the amount of brightness transition. It is made clear that the amount of brightness transition is inevitable as the characteristic features of plasma videos. It is also shown that the dissimilarity is effective for the specific criterion. For some videos, the dissimilarity may strongly reflect on criteria besides the amount of brightness transition.
