Abstract :
There are various methodologies that support theextraction of timing models from EAST-ADL design-level modelsduring the development of vehicular embedded software systems. These timing models are used to predict timing behavior ofthe systems by performing end-to-end timing analysis. Thispaper presents a comparative evaluation of three methodologies. We present an evaluation framework that consists of severalevaluation features. Using the framework, we compare andevaluate the methodologies against each feature. Eventually, theevaluation results can be used as guidelines for the selection of themost suitable methodology with respect to the end-to-end timingbehavior of a given vehicular embedded system.
