Abstract :
A solution refractive index (RI) and temperature simultaneous measurement sensor based on three-beam interferometric fiber-optic were demonstrated. The fringe contrast and the wavelength of the interference will vary with the RI and the temperature of the solution, respectively. Experimental results indicate that proposed three-beam interferometric presents a RI sensitivity of 57.24 dB/RIU in the measurement 1.3415–1.4320 RIU and a temperature sensitivity of 10 pm/°C in the range of 30 °C-70 °C. The minimum resolution of RI can be detected is 1.7×10−4/RIU.
