Abstract :
To improve low-speed stability and dynamic response of traditional variable speed pump control systems, this study proposes a variable speed pump control system in valve-pump parallel variable structure control, where a proportional flow valve is parallel to a variable speed pump and could work at leaking status and replenishing status, and then establishes its mathematical model and then analyses system parameters and dynamic characteristics by AMEsim simulation. A control mechanism is built which could be adjusted between two channels of valve control and pump control to the control requirements and could significantly improve comprehensive performances of variable speed pump control systems with large power, such as low-speed stability, rapid response while keeping high efficiency.
