  • Abstract
Over flow protection valve is the key equipment to protect thydraulic system with large potential energy, but irreversible malfunction may occur on valve when it under shock condition. Therefore the anti-shock design of the valve is critical. Considering the two stage structure of the valve, mathematic model of over flow protection valve is established. FLUENT is introduced to calculate the flow field around the main valve, for the accurate main valve port´spartial damping coefficient as the simulation parameter. SIMULINK is introduced to simulatevalve´s shutoff properties and anti-shockproperties. The simulation results show that valve workswellunder normal condition and the anti-shockperformance is also excellent. The shutoff properties of the over flow protection valve have been tested on an experiment system, and the results show that valve can quickly shut off at the thresholdvalue. The methods and results of simulation provide reference for further study of particular valve under shock condition.
