  • Abstract
Currently the most important task of science and engineering is a convergence of knowledge and technologies. Today a new global brand of scientific development is integration of nano-bio-info-cogni-technologies. Noticeably that information and biotechnologies combine various sciences and make them to integrate. The given paper refers to the basic part of information technologies. Herein the problem of creation and development of ontology models in knowledge management systems is a new multidisciplinary direction. The given paper gives an overview of ontology notion history as well as issues and problems state in this field. Fundamental types of ontologies are described. Hierarchical approach for ontology development is treated. Examples of CAD ontology development are demonstrated. Software environment is developed. Experimental researches showing promising outlook of the proposed approaches are demonstrated. This allows improve efficiency of knowledge processing, implement searching and classification of large data arrays during decision making under fuzzy and insufficient terms of science and manufacture.
