Abstract :
In this paper, the design of a prototype of a wearable guide system for the blindness is presented. The ultrasonic measurement is used to detect several obstacles such as stairs, walls and pits, and the method of TDM is applied to reduce power consumption. Through tests, its reliability and utility are verified.
