Abstract :
This paper presents a methodology for reconfiguration of distribution networks in normal operation and considering the inclusion of distributed generation sources. As a relevant contribution, this work proposes an adaption on the use of AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) and on the heuristic search with distributed generation (DG) connected to the grid. It is also presented an analysis of load and generation and their impact on the reconfiguration results. The proposed methodology is compared with references in terms of the optimization results and number of switching tests made to find the final network topology. A real distribution network model with two substations and five feeders is used to demonstrate and evaluate the methodology. The results provide the decision making for the use of the analyzed methodologies, with practical application on automatic and dynamic reconfiguration of distribution networks with distributed generators, aligned with the concepts of the Smart Grids.
