Abstract :
The Distribution System is the physical interface between the utility and consumers. In order to ensure the reliability in the power supply, a good expansion and operation planning is required. Moreover, the planning of system is important to the optimization of the investments made by the utilities. In this sense, the diagnostic of the distribution system under study is essential to establish appropriate planning solutions. By the inclusion of Smart Grid concepts, a more accurate system diagnostic becomes necessary, requiring different and complex analysis in order to reach a balance between the energy demand growing and the financial and technical restrictions. Thus, this paper presents a methodology based on Neuro-Fuzzy controllers that is able to obtain Grid Indexes, which evaluate the System Operability, its Intelligence Level and its Regulatory Standards. By combining it with traditional diagnostic parameter, it is expected to define more optimized solutions. The Neuro-Fuzzy controllers definition and the modeling of the input variables involved in the proposed diagnostic will be displayed in this paper.
